My first created collection (artworks collection)

I recorded some notes about myself and what this project should include in order to write down my personal profile and manifesto. It is very interesting to explore myself constantly. I imagine what kind of person I am and what I like. This gives me a better understanding of myself.
I always think about how to identify myself when I cant be asleep at night. Finally I realize that I am just a normal person. I know I’m an introvert because I practice a lot of courage before I socialize with people.
How do others see me? I am quiet and modesty, my friend says.My legacy would be my art and ideas as I am an artist. I hope to draw more in the future.
I would say balloon represents me the most. Balloons could fly and are easily changed by the holder, and always get lost.
Artist mission statement: My main ambition is being recognized by others, if someone could get some energy form my artwork, It will give me power.
Manifesto:
Make each artworks meaningful. Give some information to the audience.
Try new things. Try different kinds of materials.
Follow my own heart. Don’t be bound by the outside world.
Feedback: more clear about manifesto and artist mission statement.

I went to study the manifesto of other artists. I was inspired by the expressions of various situations. They use various fonts and different arrangements to show their rules. The bold font on the left is used to show the key points, and its textile material also makes me very interested. On the right is a regular arrangement of 10 rules, and one of them is specially enlarged to emphasize. These two pictures let me learn some knowledge of typesetting.

I searched the personal pages of two artists, and found it very helpful for my production. The composition of LA Johnson’s website is very clear. She classifies her works and can intuitively find what the audience wants to see. The website of Malika Favre is as bold and original as her art. She took into account the style of her work and integrated it into the web.

Loish

Ping Zhu

When studying various artists’ websites, I can also enjoy a lot of works, and I enjoy the process very much. Ping Zhu’s website is very simple and clear, with the same style as hers, full of lovely and warm atmosphere. And classify each series of works. I like Loish’s website very much because it shows the artist’s strong painting technology and love of painting.

Through these two videos, I learned how to make various web pages. This is very useful for me because I can build a fairly professional level from a person who knows nothing about web pages. This is very exciting.

Photoshop
I thought about how to draw my self-portrait for a long time. Because I don’t have a clear understanding of myself. I don’t know how others think of me, and how I think of myself. But I know what I want to bring to others with art. They are like flowers. If someone can get some ideas from my works, it is my greatest honor. So I drew such a self-portrait.

Photoshop
I created some illustrations to decorate my website. The one on the left is my main page. I want to express my inner desire to grow up. On the right is the illustration in the contact me website. Here are the line to my home page website:

Padlet
I received a lot of good advice from several sources. First of all, I want to say how grateful I am for their support. Second, I am aware that I need to provide additional details to help the audience comprehend my work. Additionally, the page’s layout was also influenced by them.

During the discussion with our tutor, we decided on the studio of our three projects. This is a very meaningful lesson because I can gradually distinguish four different studios and get very useful suggestions. For example, in my first project, I didn’t know where my work should be displayed. My classmates suggested that it should be placed between urban and rural areas. In addition, I also listened to other people’s projects and gave them suggestions.

Categorize artwork
The picture on the left is my classification based on my work, which will make the page more concise and clear. On the right are some functions of Mobirise software. I used their own templates to make the web page look more professional.
Reflection
In this project, due to the need to create web pages, I reviewed all my works. Seeing the creation several years ago made me feel both nostalgic and fresh. Although the mood and feeling of the creation at that time was completely different from that of today, it was full of immature technology. But I hope I can keep on trying like that time.
In the process of making web pages, I thought it would be a challenge, but the use of Mobirise software made everything easier. When I put my works on, I enjoy the process very much, because when they are integrated, they reflect a part of me. It is a great honor for people who don’t know me to know me.
